Al is an experimental contemporary artist working with acrylic and textiles. 

Originally from Ponoka County, Alberta, she currently works from Vancouver, British Columbia, where she earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from the University of British Columbia. 

Her works focus on issues of the anthropocene, womanhood, and what it means to be a maker.
